Tahmina Uddin

So here's my two cents on this palette which I see more as a corrector than a concealer, just saying. I've hardly seen any reviews or discussion around this product so I thought I'd share with you what I think about it.           With Flash - true to colour          With Flash - true to colour         With Flash        Without Flash The reason why I bought this was because it was highly recommended by Wayne from Gossmakeupartist as being a really creamy corrector palette. With my hideous bluey purple under eye circles, and without having to fork out on the Bobbi Brown Corrector for such a tiny amount of product, I decided to give this a go. I bought the palatte in the shade CAPN from Love-Makeup as it was the darker of the two shades they did.    It cost £25 plus P+P. As there were rarely any swatches online, I went which the darker shade palette but I can only use the lightest of all the shades as the rest are way too dark. Perhaps I would have been better off with the lighter shade (CAPJ). That aside, the actually product is very creamy and very easy to work with. You need the tiniest amount to cover the under eye bad boys so it will definitely last a long time. It can be easily blended with both brush and fingers, although I use my fingers when applying it as I find it 'heats' with the warmth of my body heat and blends a lot nicely. After applying it, I apply my MAC Select Moisture Cover Concealer (NC35 if you're wondering) and pat that in to brighten up my under eye area. I find that these two products work very nicely together. I have worn this in the house on its own to see what the wear was like (because I clearly wouldn't wear this by itself as it is orange!) I find that it wears pretty well but starts creasing after about 4/5 hours. However, I also found that if I used an eye cream beforehand, it creased even quicker because of the emollient in the product combined with the creaminess of the corrector. Therefore I would suggest you make sure your under eyes are 'dry' before using this to make it last longer. My main con is that I wish they would sell the shades individually because I would love to repurchase it but do not really want to spend another £25 just for one shade in the palette. And for that reason, I probably would not repurchase. However, the product itself is amazing and I really like it as a corrector for the under eye area as well as to cover up any dark acne scarring I have on my face. If you can afford to repurchase for one shade, then I would definitely recommend it! Follow @tamiinu_x www.tamiinu.blogspot.co.uk
