HRH the Crown Prince further noted that culture and history underpin the Kingdom’s development. In this regard, His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of cultural education to driving creativity, productivity and the growth of Bahrain’s key sectors

HRH the Crown Prince went on to praise the President of the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Ibrahim Centre, HE Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, whose efforts and initiatives to promote Bahrain’s culture have generated a positive response both within and outside the Kingdom

Following a tour of the research centre and two related projects, Memory of the House and Dar Al Fan, HRH the Crown Prince and HH the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait then attended a ceremony to mark the official opening of SEARCH

HE the President of the Board of Trustees expressed her appreciation towards the Emir of the State of Kuwait for his generous support for the centre, as well as the promotion of Bahraini and Arabic culture more broadly
