Egypt embassy in US marks African Day

The US embassy in Washington in cooperation with the Moroccan embassy here has held an event for marking the Africa Day.
The Africa Day is celebrated on May 25 to commemorate the formation of the African Union.
Africa is among the fastest growing economies in the world, Egyptian Ambassador Mohamed Tawfiq said.
The average growth rate in Africa hits 5 percent year-on-year, he said.
Moroccan ambassador to US Rachad Bouhlal hailed cooperation and partnership between the US and African nations.
