Crashed A400M had triple engine failure

An analysis of the black boxes of the A400M military plane which crashed in Spain on May 9, killing four, has revealed that three of the aircraft's four engines failed, Airbus said Wednesday.

Investigators "confirmed that engines one, two and three experienced power frozen after lift-off and did not respond to the crew's attempts to control the power setting in the normal way," the company said in a statement, adding that the problem was likely a technical bug.
