Egyptian actress Regina has expressed her happiness to be working with Ghada Abdel Razek for the fourth time. Speaking to Arab Today in interview, she said: “I can’t describe how happy I am to work with her [Ghada] again, even if it is in a supporting role.” Regina confirmed that there is no bad blood between her and Ghada, despite the latter being cast in a bigger role. She said: “It’s not about the size of the role, it’s about the impact and how central it is to the story.” The actress says she was attracted to the series, Points of Weakness, because of director Mohammed Sami. Regina described him as a “genius in everything,” as well as the involvement of Ghada Abdel Razek and the rest of the cast. Regina’s last role was in the series, The Story of Life, in which she played a romantic character. She explained that this role differs in that she plays a girl suffering from a psychological illness. The starlet previously refused to work with Yahya Al Fakharani in the first season of a series chronicling the stories of the Koran, but has since changed her mind. She will be acting alongside Fakharani this year after her daughters begged her to take the part. Discussing whether her daughters have any interest in acting, Regina said: “I don’t mind if my daughters want to be actresses. I’ll help them achieve their dream despite my preference not to have them choose this career. I’ve suffered a lot from it and worry they’ll experience the same.”
