SLiNK

SLiNK magazine, the UK glossy aimed at women size 14+, has today announced a global expansion plan that will make it the most widely distributed magazine of its genre. SLiNK launched in 2011 as an online only publication and then introduced a bi-monthly print edition in 2012. Cornering a market trend, the plus size retail sector has grown 45% within five years compared to womenswear growth of 15%. The market is now worth in excess of £3.8 billion and expanding rapidly still. With 40% of the female population in the UK alone wearing a size 16+ the demand for plus size fashion is growing. SLiNK magazine founder Rivkie Baum felt it was the right time to take the magazine to the next step and comments: "We are extremely excited to be taking the next step and look forward to working with brands all over the globe." SLiNK magazine features fashion, beauty, feature articles, travel, food and homeware. The title will be distributing their next issue in stores globally from September and will include: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Germany, UAE, Austria, Portugal plus more to be announced.
