World-renowned British couture designer Bruce Oldfield has finally tried his hand at perfumery, and launched his first ever fragrance Bruce Oldfield Eau de Parfum. The launch took place on 7th July at his bridal boutique in Beauchamp Place, London, after collaborating with British perfume house Floris to develop a signature scent that will be loved by his clients as much as his couture collection. Oldfield’s client list includes names such as Jemima Khan, Queen Rania of Jordan and Rihanna. The inspiration behind the scent comes from memories of his muse Charlotte Rampling and friends in France; he told Vogue UK: "My memories of Cap d'Antibes in the early Seventies conjure up this glamorous, intelligent, playful woman I love to design for." The Bohemian-style scent is made of a beautiful summery mixture of mimosa, bergamot, vanilla, amber, ylang ylang and neroli. If you love the scent of summer the perfume is available on sale for £89 for 100ml from 25th July at Liberty or the Bruce Oldfield boutiques www.bruceoldfield.com
