The main entrance of the Ritz-Carlton in Tokyo

Want to rest assured of a comfortable, problem-free hotel stay? The results of a new hotel survey suggest booking a room either at The Ritz-Carlton or the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham, two hotel brands that received the highest guest satisfaction scores in a new survey.

In the 19th edition of the JD Power’s 2015 North American Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study, The Ritz-Carlton squeezed past Four Seasons and JW Marriott to emerge the favorite luxury hotel brand in a survey that polled more than 62,000 guests in the US and Canada.

At the other end of the scale, Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham was the top-performing hotel brand in the economy and budget category, followed by Red Roof Inn, and Howard Johnson Express.
