Italian Consul General Elisabetta Martini with Park Hyatt team in Jeddah

Park Hyatt introduced a special Italian family brunch on Fridays at its Nafoura restaurant as part of the Italian Cuisine week that has been launched in Jeddah. 
Emad Yousef, executive manager at Park Hyatt Jeddah, told Arab News that Park Hyatt always tries to be part of the worldwide food festivals, so this time they coordinated with the Italian consulate for the Italian cuisine week to introduce their Italian family brunch with the celebrity Italian Chef Marco Martini.
The Italian brunch was prepared by Park Hayat Executive Chef Ali A. Benali with all Italian products and Italian ingredients to give the taste of Italy to the guests of the Park Hyatt.
The chef made all types of Italian pasta with more than 15 homemade and branded pastas, Italian risotto; different selections of Italian cheeses, Italian prosciutto; pizza; Italian dessert; Italian coffee, juices and fruits to give a taste of Italian flavors. 
“The very special thing about today is Chef Martini who is part of the festival,” he said.
A special kid’s corner was also arranged including TV activities, clowns, drawing, face painting, jumping Castile and more. 
Marco Martini explained that he found Park Hyatt an excellent place. “We learned a lot by experiencing the Saudi culture and tradition.” 
Italian Consul General Elisabetta Martini said the aim was to promote the philosophy that Italian lifestyle is simple but exclusive. The event is dedicated to promoting Italy’s culinary traditions abroad as one of the most distinctive features of brand Italy. 
She said food is an important sector to improve trade and economy. Italian ingredients are affordable and best in taste. There are around $10 billion worth of trade between the two countries, “We want to boost the food sector as Italy can do much higher trade in food with the Kingdom,” she added.
