Nissan Leaf is the leading EV in the world

• The Renault-Nissan Alliance, the world’s leader in zero-emissions mobility, has sold its 350,000th electric vehicle since December 2010, when the Nissan LEAF went on sale. 
The Alliance achieved the historic milestone in August, while also setting an industry record of 100,000 EVs sold in a single year. 
The Alliance accounts for half of the EVs sold worldwide. 
The Nissan LEAF remains the industry’s best-selling EV ever, with more than 230,000 units sold globally. Renault is the best-performing EV brand in Europe.” 
This historic milestone confirms our customers’ recognition of the benefits of Renault and Nissan electric vehicles,” Alliance Chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn said.

• McLaren Automotive has made key appointments in the areas of social media and product communications to further strengthen its Global PR team. 
Joining McLaren Automotive on Nov. 21 is Paul Chadderton as Global Product Communications Manager. 
His name should be familiar to many as initially Paul held a number of editorial roles before joining Honda (UK).  
Following this, he moved to Jaguar Land Rover where he held senior positions in Product, Brand and Corporate communications.  
Most recently, he was Director at a communications agency. 
He replaces Dave Eden who moved onto a new role as Global Motorsport Brand and Communications Manager in June.

• At the 2016 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Hyundai Motor America displays four exciting show cars, the nitrous-based Rockstar Santa Fe Concept, the race-ready Gurnade Veloster Concept, the Road Racer Elantra Concept, and the “Santa-Fast” SUV with 1,040 PS. 
To develop these impressive cars, Hyundai Motor America joined forces with Rockstar Performance Garage, Gurnade Inc., ARK Performance and Bisimoto. 
The 2016 SEMA show is world’s premier automotive specialty products trade event taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Nov. 1 through 4.
