The American University in Dubai\'s governing board has approved a Dhs17m budget for scholarships. The amount is in addition to expanding libraries, adding more dormitories and a tower to house the Mohammad Bin Rashid School for Communication, the University said. Scholarships usually cover tuition and accommodation fees for a year, or semester in the case of visiting students. AUD is a private, non-sectarian institution of higher learning in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, founded in 1995 and serves UAE nationals and international students from all over the world and offer them world-class career-oriented education and also gives scholarships. The Undergraduate Scholarships are \'H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Scholarship for Undergraduate Admissions,\' \'The Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication Scholarship Program,\' \'The William Jefferson Clinton Scholarship Program and the Graduate Scholarships are \'H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Scholarship for Graduate Admissions\'. The Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication scholarship programme aims to bridge the gap undermining the current Arab media sector. \"The ultimate goal,\" said the Vice President \"is to train students from around the region to become objective, fair and responsible media specialists. Eventually this new generation of communication experts will help usher in a new era of improved relations between the Arab World and the US.”
