The Kenyan government announced Thursday night that the operation at the university stormed by the militant Somalia Al-Shabaab group, that lasted 16 hours was over.
Interior Minister Joseph Nkaissery said 147 people has been killed, and the survivors will be evacuated tomorrow using NYS vehicles. He further said that the militants were armed with IEDs, live bombs and grenades.
