BIG shopper consumer electronics and fashion products exhibition

The countdown has started for the BIG shopper consumer electronics and fashion products exhibition.

Billed as the single-largest consumer-centric tech and fashion shopper in Sharjah, the Consumer Electronics Fashion CEF - The Big Shopper 2016 will make its debut at Expo Centre Sharjah from December 1 to 3, 2016.

With more than 100 leading brands, Top retailers and dealers in attendance, the National Day weekend crowd can expect to see the best deals in latest Smartphones, consumer electronics, computers & peripherals, home appliances, fashion , sports  & accessories.

“With discounts upto 75% for grabs on select category and the presence of key partners like Sharaf DG, Plugins, Axiom, Jashanmal, Better Life, Splash, Sportsone, and Top Fashion brand, it is worth the wait for consumers given that the festival season is round the corner and it’s the time when retailers offload their inventory,” said Antoine Georges, Managing Director of Dome Exhibitions, which is organising the exhibition.

He said that the show will be a big boon for the retail industry which is dependent on major shopping events to witness a big boost in sales. New products, bundle offers and mega discounts at CEF will attract close to 75,000 visitors during its three-day run, he added.

Most participants have big offers in store for visitors. “We have planned some exclusive offers for buyers and our offers will be limited to stock availability,” said MrNileshKhalkho, CEO, Sharaf DG.

The Axiom pavilion will also host key distribution partners who will showcase a wide range of devices and special offers,” he added.

With the consumer electronics industry in the UAE expected to grow by around 3% this year to US$11.8 billion, retailers are expecting strong volume growth at CEF, mainly driven by demand for more compact and multi-functional devices, especially those that offer internet connectivity, with consumers’ lifestyles becoming increasingly mobile and fast paced. 

“CEF The Big Shopper, is a unique event which combines electronics with fashion and sports goods under one roof. This allows a wider audience to be attracted to their favourite brands, products and retail outlets,” said Laurent Riche, General Manager, Plugins.

“Visitors can expect some great offers in smartphones, tablets, notebooks and home appliances. Sharjah needed this kind of a shopping bonanza to cater to consumers in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates,” he added.
