Apartment 58 is a new concept club providing a work and socialising space for the creative industry. Three Apartments opened in London in 2012, located in the creative hubs of Soho, Notting Hill and Shoreditch. Further apartments are scheduled to open in Paris, Milan, Berlin, New York and Mumbai by 2015 creating a global network. The concept is simple: an intimate apartment and bar space with understated design and personal access available to members from 8am to 12am, seven days a week to work, host events or simply socialise. During the day Apartment 58 offers a modern natural daylight space to work from with access to Wi-Fi, a boardroom and conferencing facilities. In the evening Apartment 58 transforms into the ideal space for dinner and drinks. The use of technology, being eco-friendly and socially conscious is front and centre of Apartment 58, and every apartment will have the latest Apple gadgets including iPads, iPhones, and Mac Book Pros. Co-founder Alan Gerald Grant said: "We want to make a creative hub for the next generation. We want to relate to those working in fashion, film, music or design who perhaps don’t have their own studios just yet but still want a beautiful space in which to work. Apartment 58 will help the industry day to day. Our members can let themselves in with their own key, access the Cloud to work off an iPad or Mac, host sample sales or launches and even pick up their mail." Access to the Apartment 58 network is through a ‘friendship card’ which is used as both key and currency. Here is a sneak-peek inside the home-away-from-home members-only club.
