Chairman of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, has extended congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the Bahraini Women's Day, celebrated annually on December 1. This year's theme is “Women in the Engineering Field”.

Al-Saleh expressed pride in Bahraini’s women’s status, and distinguished presence locally and internationally, which, he said, reflects their honourbale image, as well as leading role in various fields.
The Shura Chairman lauded HRH Princess Sabeeka’s “tangible, fruitful and always constructive” efforts to preserve Bahraini women’s rights and dignity, praising the role of the SCW in this regard.
