The Jordanian state security court released former MP Ahmad Oweidi Abbadi on a bail of 10,000 Jordanian dinars ($15,000) on Thursday. Abbadi\'s lawyer said the release was issued by \"supreme orders\". Abbadi had been in custody since January this year, on account of televised statements where he called for the establishment of a Jordanian republic. The public prosecution charged him with \"incitement against the monarchy\".
