Explosion of petrol station in Ghana

About 10,000 people were affected by floods and the explosion of a petrol station, which left 150 people killed last week in Ghana, the country's Red Cross said.

The government in Ghana declared three days of national mourning.

About 1,125 were destroyed as the result of floods, said Red Cross disaster management coordinator Francis Obeng.

Also, 67 people were transferred to the hospital to receive treatment, he added.
