Egyptian Ambassador in Moscow Mohamed el Badri said that Egyptian–Russian ties are strong at the different political, economic and cultural fields.
In statements to MENA, Badri added that the ties became stronger since Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi assumed office.
Egyptian-Russian relations varied in the different domains, he said, adding that they progress in light of the identical viewpoints between Sisi and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Egypt’s foreign relations are based on the principle of common interest, said he.
