International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr said she is looking forward to holding the joint Egyptian-Indonesian committee meeting soon.
Several agreements and memos are expected to be signed between Egypt and Indonesia in the fields of health, agriculture and environment protection, she said during a ceremony held late Tuesday on Indonesia's 71st Independence Day.
She underlined the strong strategic partnership between the two sides.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian ambassador in Egypt stressed the importance of boosting strategic and technical cooperation between the two countries.
The diplomat noted that the volume of trade exchange reached more than 1 billion dollars annually
