No more referendums will be held on Britain's exit from the European Union (EU) as the British government respects the will of Britons, who chose to leave the European bloc in the June 23 referendum, Edwin Samuel, the UK Government Arabic media spokesperson, said on Thursday.

In a statement issued by the British government's Dubai-based media center, Samuel said Britain will play a more effective role in the Middle East region in the coming period.

He also expected the British economy to become stronger after Britain's exit from the EU.
