Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon the situation in Syria. in a telephone conversation today.

     The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the two sides reviewed the pressing international issues, including the situation in Syria and other Middle East countries and North Africa, as well as the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
