UN Security Council said clashes between the Syrian army and opposition forces at the Israeli-Syrian border where UN troops were stationed was a threat to cease-fire and security of regional people. In a statement released on Wednesday, the UN Security Council underlined that UN troops watched with concern the clashes between the Syrian army and opposition groups. The UN Security Council also said that the clashes posed a threat to UN troops as well.
