The US has equipped Iraq with a defense system against the Daesh-owned drones, Spokesman for the anti-Daesh coalition John Dorian said on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters, Dorian said the new defense system can locate and bombard the drones used by the terrorist Daesh group in their fight against Iraqi troops and the US-led international coalition.
Dorian said Daesh drones are of the small and commercial type and do not pose a threat to the international coalition.
Two French servicemen were injured earlier this month after a Daesh-owned drone crashed in Erbil governorate and of Iraqi Kurdistan.
