Tunisian military and police units on Thursday manged to kill two terrorists and arrest other element during clashes in Ben Guerdane border city.

A joint statement of the ministries of defense and interior said that military forces also succeeded in seizing 4 Kalashnikov rifles.

Meanwhile, a terrorist was killed after shooting a joint military and police patrol in al Zekra district around Ben Guerdane and a Kalashnikov rifle belonging to him was seized.

The terrorists' death toll has reached 49 , while 8 others were arrested since the beginning of the military operation in Ben Guerdane early Monday
