Egypt's Ambassador in Khartoum Ossama Shaltout said Saturday that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir stressed the importance of activating joint cooperation frameworks between the two neighboring countries.
Shaltout added that the relations between the two brotherly states had not been affected by changes in regimes or governments throughout the eras.
These remarks came in the ceremony held by the Egyptian embassy in Khartoum on Saturday evening to inaugurate "revival of cultural and civilization dialogue between Egypt and Sudan" initiative.
