Forty-one persons were wounded when a bus overturned along the desert road in Minya on Sunday, according to the Health Ministry.

No deaths have been reported so far.

Twelve ambulances were sent to the scene to carry the wounded, said spokesman for the ministry Khaled Megahed.

The cause of the overturn is not clear yet.
