Military Spokesman Mohamed Samir said that border guards foiled an infiltration attempt by 478 illegal migrants of various nationalities through the western, northern and southern borders.

In a statement on Monday, the spokesman said that 71 cartridge rifles, 99 bullets and 349,000 tablets of Tamol drug were also seized.
