Railway traffic on Mansoura-Zaqziq line returned to normal two and a half hours after the explosion of two bombs, said head of the Railway Authority Samir Nawar.
The watchman at a level crossing between Abu Shoukouk and Kafr Saqr stations reported a bomb explosion that caused a 80cm-long and a 70cm-deep fracture.
While technical experts were repairing the fracture another explosion took place.
No casualties were reported in the two blasts.
