second international conference of Arabic Language

The second international conference of Arabic Language on Thursday called for expanding in the translation of orientalists’ writings.

This came during the final session of the two-day conference organized by Faculty of Al Alsun at Ain Shams University in the presence of Dr. Mona Fouad, dean of the faculty, and several lecturers and orientalists from around the world.

Also, the conference recommended writing theses in Arabic language and other languages according to the specialization as well as teaching orientalists’ publications at all Egypt’s universities in the Bachelor degree and post-graduate studies if possible. 

Furthermore, it urged translating Arab writings into many foreign languages through translation centers’ at universities and cultural institutions in addition to distributing them via the State Information Service (SIS) and cultural forums abroad.

Moreover, the conference suggested holding cultural seminars periodically to educate students on the negative and positive aspects of the orientalism.
