Kuwaiti artist Abdallah Al Rowaished’s dream came true after a visit to Palestine. The artist, who considers Palestine a second home, expressed his utmost happiness after experience the beauty of the land and the holy sanctities. He encouraged all Arab artists to do the same in a show of solidarity with the people. Rowaished visited the cities of Ramallah, and Nablus, where he will be hosting a charity concert next Thursday. He considered this visit as a life changing event in a personal and artistic manner, as it was a move which broke all boundaries in order to reach the holy land. In Ramallah, the artist met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas who thanked him for the visit. Abdallah holds deep respect for the Palestinian people and admires their strength and the extent of their struggles to this day after years of occupation. During his visit to Palestine, Rowaished said he would try his best to visit Gaza and see her people. Abdallah says he will return to Palestine once again with a song that speaks of the nation and its fine history. He thanked the Palestinian people from the bottom of his heart and promised to sing at the top of his voice, calling on the whole world to liberate Jerusalem and to stand with the Palestinians.
