Saudi Arabia condemns suicide bombing targeting power station in Iraq

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has condemned the suicide bombing that targeted a power station in the Iraqi city of Samarra.

Saudi Press Agency quoted an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as reaffirming the Kingdom's stand and solidarity with the Republic of Iraq against terrorism and extremism.

The official source also offered the Kingdom's condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

International press sources have reported that at least seven people were killed and thirteen others were injured after suicide bombers attacked a state-run power station near Baghdad on Saturday, with Daesh claiming responsibility for the attack.
