A Gulf popular heritage festival opened on Sunday in Sabah Al-Ahmad village in Kuwait, in the presence of a number of officials from Kuwait and GCC countries. 
The festival will include a plethora of contests and activities designed to illustrate Kuwait's profound maritime heritage.
