Lebanese Singer Mai Hariri
Beirut - Michelle Hadad

Lebanese Singer Mai Hariri said that no one can prevent her from singing to her former husband, artist Melhem Barakat, saying anything can happen in the future and she does not know whether she will sing to him or not.

Hariri added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, “I have no problem with Barakat’s family. I do not seek to widen the gap with them. I do not know whether I sing to my former husband or not. I cannot anticipate things.”

The Lebanese singer has not ruled out the possibility to participate in cinema and drama, stressing that she waits the suitable offer to take the serious steps in this regard. She added, “I need to find an untraditional role that meets my aspirations. I am not hasty.” She revealed that she received an offer from Egypt to participate in a dramatic work.
