Aswan Governor Mustafa Yousri said great efforts are made to improve river transport services between Egypt and Sudan.
During a meeting of the High Dam Port’s Board of Directors, the governor decided to give workers an EGP 5,000-reward for their efforts to raise the port's efficiency that helps open new markets for Egyptian products.
The governor also allocated EGP 25,000 for developing the port.
Sudanese transport officials attended the meeting.
