Minister of Environment Khaled Fahmy on Tuesday said that there is no doubt on the necessity of using coal for minimizing the power outage crisis.
At a press conference, he added that coal will remain in use until other alternative resources are discovered.
Coal will be used in Egypt as of 2015 until 2030, he said, adding that it will be used under strict regulations.
