'Elementary' star Lucy Liu to direct an episode of 'Graceland'

Actress and director Lucy Liu is to helm an upcoming episode for the third season of Graceland, USA Network announced.
Starring Daniel Sunjata and Aaron Tveit, the drama series is about a group of undercover, law-enforcement operatives from various agencies, living together in a confiscated beach house in Southern California.
The third season is to begin June 25. Liu's episode of the show is scheduled to air on Aug. 27.
"Graceland is a truly gripping drama series with strong, dynamic characters and a knack for shedding light on the 'human element' of some very provocative storylines," Liu said in a statement. "As a fan of the series since its launch, I am so excited to be a part of this production and direct an episode for Season 3."
Liu currently co-stars in and directed two episodes of the highly rated CBS drama series Elementary.
