Ashlee Simpson\'s sassy look

Ashlee Simpson hosted the "Samsung Galaxy S III" event in New York City, following the LA party last month. The mobile phone enthusiast wore a sassy look that featured red high-waisted leather shorts with simple white smocked blouse from Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet. We loved Ashlee’s style but we are not so sure about the half-tucked-in, half-out blouse. On the other hand, despite the rumours of a sisterly spat between Ashlee and Jessica Simpson over Jess’s baby, it turns out things are just fine. A tabloid report claimed that Ashlee “is jealous of the attention and the money Jessica is getting for losing her baby weight. She’s always had a chip on her shoulder about growing up in Jessica’s shadow. But when her son Bronx was born, Ashlee felt like she had a leg up, because all eyes were on her.” However, a family friend definitively declared, “That’s hilarious. Ashlee and Jess are extremely close and were together all day on Jess’s birthday.”
