Helen Mirren “D&G” dress at British Comedy Awards

Helen Mirren hits the blue carpet at the 2011 British Comedy Awards held at Fountain Studios in London, England. Mirren wore a dress from the Dolce & Gabbana fall 2011 collection, interwoven with panels of alternating star print and lace, which would have made for an outfit in itself. But then, the actress overloaded it with a huge star necklace, black gloves and a white coat. We think that Mirren who is always praised for her taste in clothes, made a big fashion mistake with this dress, especially that it doesn’t suit her age. The 66-year-old British actress presented a lifetime achievement award to the TV panel show Have I Got News For You and told reporters backstage that she thought British comedy was “in an incredible spot.”
