Yves Saint Laurent has announced the launch of the Babydoll collection. The formula in the mascara mimics a high-tech molecule called graphene, by combining three polymers, soft waxes and an agent that allows for maximum distribution of black pigments, for even colour. The ultra-fine texture reproduces the flexibility and resistant properties of grapheme, making it possible to lengthen and curl the lashes from roots to tips. The new elastomer brush alternates thick, widely spaced bristles to coat the lashes, while finer, more closely spaced bristles define the shortest lashes. The new range features: Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Baby Doll in Fetish Black, Wheedler Brown, Audacious and Indiscreet Purple shades; Eyeliner in Golden Brown, Light Blue, Light Amethyst, Golden Reflections and Rose Babydoll; Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres in Rose Babydoll for lips; and La Laque Couture in Rose Babydoll for nails. Priced between £18 and £24.50, the collection will be available nationwide from May 22, while three of the eyeliners will be exclusive from the YSL Beauty website. The advertising campaign for the Babydoll collection features model Cara Delevingne. www.yslbeauty.co.uk
