International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nassr called Monday on French companies to carry out renewable energy projects in Egypt as part of a climate change initiative.
"Egypt has a wise political leadership that believes in the necessity of attracting foreign investments," Nassr said during a meeting with a number of French and Egyptian investors and businessmen.
The political leadership pays great attention to the role of investment and trade in achieving economic and social development, she added.
The minister stressed that the government exerted strenuous efforts during the past
months to gain the trust of international funding institutions.
"Moody's has changed Egypt's outlook from negative to stable," she added.
