A low pressure system will bring rain in the coming hours, Oman's meteorology department has tweeted on its official twitter handle.
"Clouds covering northern parts of Oman with possibility of sporadic rains expected in the coming hours," the met department's tweet read.
Last week, heavy rain fell on several areas in Oman, causing massive flooding, overflowing of wadis, disrupting the flight movements and closing down of Muscat Festival and some schools on Tuesday.
