Egyptian envoy in Berlin expounds to media situation in Egypt

Egyptian Ambassador here Badr Abdel Aaty on Wednesday held talks with senior German reporters and correspondents from different media outlets where he expounded the recent economic, security and political developments in Egypt.

He also explained achievements by the Egyptian government in the economic reform domain and current efforts for reviving tourism to Egypt; especially the German tourism.

He underlined security measures adopted by the government at tourist destinations after recent terrorist operations. He also highlighted the importance of pooling together all efforts by the international community for fighting terrorism which became a threat to the whole world with no exception.

He further noted that there is no one single country that is safe from terrorism and that there is no one country that can alone fight terrorism and provide 100 percent security for its citizens, citing examples of terrorist attacks in Brussels and Paris along with other parts of the world.
