Tara Reid celebrated the new year by sharing a nude picture of herself on Instagram.
The 39-year-old actress took to the photo sharing site December 31 to post the risqué shot. Reid appears naked in the picture, with only a wristwatch and her hands to protect her modesty.
"Happy new year," she captioned the photo. The star has been on holiday in Tulum with her boyfriend, and shared a series of skinny bikini snapshots from the beach last week.
Reid sparked rumors she Photoshopped her waistline after sharing several more bikini photos Sunday. Several users suggested the actress altered one of the pictures to appear even thinner, and claimed the result was jagged.
"Even though I was skinny, I wanted -- I'm not going to lie -- a six-pack," the actress confessed to Us Weekly in 2006. "I had body contouring, but it went all wrong. My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing. I'll never be perfect again, but I've got my self confidence back."
Reid is known for such films as American Pie and Josie and the Pussycats, and last appeared in SyFy television movie Sharknado 2. She and American Pie co-star Jason Biggs got in a spat in June after the actor declared, "No one knows what's going on with Tara's body."
