The Africa Cup of Nations opening ceremony and the first match between Equatorial Guinea and Libya will air unencrypted on channel Orange Sport for Orange TV’s 4 million customers. The event will also be accessible on a dedicated website sports.orange.fr/football/can-2012 and the Orange Sport page on Dailymotion. Orange Sport will show all 32 matches during the tournament, which is being hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea from 21 January to 12 February. Of these matches, it will show 8 live and unencrypted on Orange TV and the internet. Orange is the title sponsor of the Confederation of African Football since July 2009. It is also the new media partner, as it has been holding the rights for mobile content on the African continent until 2016. It owns French TV and mobile rights until the end of 2012.
