
Egypt's Ambassador in Nouakchott Ahmed Fadel on Wednesday asserted that 23 Egyptian universities are accessible to Mauritanian students.
The Ambassador made his remarks in a seminar held in the Mauritanian capital under rubric of "Higher Education and the challenges of globalization".
Fadel said that there are many memorandums of cooperation between a number of the Egyptian universities and Mauritania's universities of Nouakchott and Islamic Sciences.
Egypt provides 32 fully-paid scholarships for Mauritanian nationals, the ambassador added.
The seminar was attended by a group of Mauritanian's universities professors.
