6 MB-linked students in custody over violence in Zagazig university

Zagazig University security guards detained six students affiliated to the blacklisted Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group for committing acts of violence on campus.
Scores of the MB-linked students tried on Wednesday to stage a protest inside the university and when the guards tried to stop them they started using firecrackers and fireworks, injuring three people.
The detained students were handed over to the police who launched an investigation.
