
Sudanese authorities arrested six of the students who are implicated in setting fire to the Holy Koran University in Omdurman, Khartoum's twin-city, last week, the university director said Monday.
The fire was premeditated as they were equipped with Molotov Cocktail bottles and threw them at the offices of the deans, Ahmed Saeed Salman said.
Three of the arrestees have already graduated from the university while security forces are still looking for other six assailants who belong to other universities.
The fire was carried out by a number of Darfuri students who were seeking an exemption from university fees.
