
Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb on Sunday tasked Al Azhar University, institutes, and Islamic Research Academy to intensify their cultural activities to raise awareness of Egypt's Economic Development Conference (EEDC) and its importance to Egypt and the region.
Azhar Imam ordered to prepare a unified program in the daily morning assembly at all Azhar's educational institutes to address the importance of economic development in Islam.
Azhar will also coordinate with the Education Ministry to send Dawaa convoys to schools in all governorates in this regard.
The grand imam also tasked President of Al Azhar University Abdel Hai Azab to organize several seminars and meetings with students to deal with principles, objectives and fields of the economic development in Islam and the importance of the conference to support the Egyptian economy.
