
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance has received female students from UAE Universities and Colleges and the University of Malaya, who participated in the 21st and the 22nd summer and winter sessions of the Multiculturalism and Leadership Skills Programmes at the Al-Maktoum College for Higher Education in Dundee, Scotland.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, Juma Al Majed, Chairman of the Dubai Economic Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies, a number of directors and officials of universities and colleges in the country, Dr. Rohana Yusof, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs, University of Malaya, along with parents of students and a number of VIPs and dignitaries.
During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan expressed his admiration of the new experience and skills of students, which will enable them to be leaders in their work, adding that the positive results of the programme influenced the culture and ideology of Emirati ambitious girls, growing their character and develop their capabilities and skills, confirming the programme's success in achieving its objectives.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan wished success for the students in their lives after graduation, and for them to be ideal models for mothers in the future, as well as to contribute to their community's development.
