
The Academic Publishing Council at Kuwait University (KU) has issued 64 magazines and books in the 2013/2014 academic year in order to provide an intellectual environment that would contribute to shaping an academic vision about various issues.
Council Chairman Professor Hasan Al-Sanad said that the Council issued 54 scientific journals during the period from September 2013 until the end of last August 2014.
Al-Sanad explained that the Council seeks to achieve several goals that would eventually contribute to the enrichment of the Arabic library.
In the area of publication sales, Al-Sanad noted that the Council managed to circulate around 63,485 copies with an increase of 14,705 copies compared to the previous year, adding that the Council's efforts to attract readers continue, as the number of subscribers reached 2,201 for the current year, up 55 participants from the previous year.
